Stand Up Paddle Surfing Global

I recieved this email from Bob Babcock the other day, he has created some amazing looking wooden paddles which he is currently auctioning on ebay in the US.  He has said he would be happy to ship to the UK.  Its for a great cause (save the children) and with almost $2 to £1 its a great chance to get a wood paddle at a great price and help out a cause.

I built two paddles originally, one for my brother as a gift, the other for me. I decided that my paddle is just too heavy for everyday use and at the same time was trying to think of ideas for the fundraiser. I finally decided to add some artwork to the paddle and use it to help the cause.

I have one more coat of varnish to put on and then I’ll be posting the finished project on Lumberjocks, Ponohouse (brother Bill’s blog) and the auction on eBay.
